Occupational Therapist

Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy college
• Show evidence of interest in continuing education within the profession and encourage membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Be licensed in the State of Indiana to practice OT
• May be responsible for supervising/training personnel such as COTAs
• CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
• Previous experience in home health or in a health care setting is recommended but not required

Responsibilities

• Follow receipt of a doctor's referral and evaluate the patient within 24 hours of written referral
• Recommend programs tailored to the patient's diagnosis based on their age and type of condition
• Plan, administer, and supervise the COTA in an appropriate treatment plan
• Communicate with the referring physician and members of the rehabilitation team regarding the patient's total treatment program
• Maintain an accurate daily record of treatments given to patients

Pay

PRN. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or have a Medical or Religious Exemption to be employed by Indiana Fitness Works. FULL TIME employees may be eligible for benefits. Waiting period will apply.
