Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities.
• Perform evaluations, develop personalized care plans, and deliver evidence-based treatments to enhance mobility, independence, and quality of life.
• Document patient progress accurately within electronic medical records in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging-in-place strategies.
• Utilize telehealth and virtual care options to increase access and flexibility.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in the practice state.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, repositioning, and extended walking or standing.
