Cranial Technologies is the only company in the world completely dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly (commonly called flat head syndrome). With over 500,000 babies successfully treated, we are the plagiocephaly experts and the leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses. We also provide treatment with EarWell® to correct infant ear shapes without surgery, with over 600,000+ successful outcomes. This full-time Clinician role is based in Fresno, CA, in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. As a Clinician, you will reshape infants' head shapes using the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Pediatricians and parents rely on our Clinicians as experts in evaluating and treating plagiocephaly and misshapen ears. Our Clinicians build strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.

We hire from various backgrounds, including:

  • Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs), leveraging their knowledge of symmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development
  • Registered Nurses, with their hands-on patient care experience and compassion for families
  • Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists and Certified Orthotists, due to their expertise in orthotics and direct patient care

A background in pediatrics is preferred but not required, as we provide a formal training program with mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes using the DOC Band®
  • Correct infant ear shapes using EarWell®
  • Serve as an expert in evaluating and treating plagiocephaly and misshapen ears
  • Develop relationships with families throughout the treatment process

Requirements

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $95,000 – $110,000, dependent on the applicant's tenure in their field and relevant experience. This position is also eligible for quarterly performance bonuses and annual raises.

Schedule

Traditional workweek schedule with no nights and minimal to no weekend work.
