Occupational Therapist

About the role

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities, supporting mobility, independence, and wellness through evidence-based treatment plans. Conduct evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and deliver therapy sessions to enhance functional independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, and fitness specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on safety and aging-in-place strategies.
• Incorporate telehealth and virtual care to increase flexibility and care continuity.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Valid OT license.
• Degree from an accredited program.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPR certification.

Physical demands

• Ability to perform patient transfers and repositioning.
• Capacity for extended walking.
• Ability to drive to various locations.
