Looking for a role where your expertise helps students build independence and succeed in school? We're seeking a dedicated, full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist (OT) for the upcoming school year in Lansing, MI. In this role, you'll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including another Occupational Therapist already on site, to support students' motor, sensory, and functional needs. You'll play a vital role in helping students access their educational environment and develop the skills needed for success both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students
- Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development, accommodations, and progress monitoring
- Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records in accordance with district and state requirements
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of special education services, IEP processes, and goal development
- Ability to conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills
Pay
$50.00 per hour
