Occupational Therapist

About the role

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with mobility and transfers
• Monitor patient health and report changes to supervising nurse
• Prepare meals and assist with eating
• Manage medications and ensure they are taken correctly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Passing score on a background check
• Ability to pass a drug test

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform tasks in various environments

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
