Occupational Therapist Assistant (PRN)

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care
• Fulfills the treatment plan only as defined by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Observes, records, and reports the patient’s response to treatment and changes in their condition to the nurse supervisor and physician
• Instructs the patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the healthcare team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the Occupational Therapy Assistant

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice
• CPR certification
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrate ability to work independently
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

Pay & Benefits

• $48,175 - $72,263 annual total cash target pay
• $27.79 - $41.69 hourly rate
• $23.16 - $34.74 per visit point
