Overview Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, providing vital support to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Ensure delivery of occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures based on established care plans. Responsible for patient care, including those treated by rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, as well as guiding and orienting assigned staff. Responsibilities Key duties include: Assisting in implementing occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising therapist.Providing care and support to patients to promote recovery and functional independence.Mentoring and guiding rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant Program. Experience: No prior experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Georgia or with current compact privileges, and BLS certification through AHA, both required upon hire.
