Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) PRN - North Dallas (23095)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional mobility.
• Observe and report patient responses, progress, and changes in condition to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, safety techniques, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations, including HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license in good standing (state-specific).
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred (new graduates welcome to apply).
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
