Occupational Therapist Assistant - OTA

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Fulfills the treatment plan only as defined by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• State Specific Requirements: LA - Must have 2+ years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Pay

Annual Total Cash Target Pay: $50,852 - $76,277
Hourly Pay Range: $24.45 - $36.67 Per Visit Point
Point Pay Range: $29.34 - $44.01
Per Visit Point Rate Compensation: Calculated by multiplying the per visit point rate by the productivity points accrued for various types of visits.
