Occupational Therapist Assistant - OTA

Primary Responsibilities

• Follows all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Fulfills the treatment plan only as defined by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Observes, records, and reports the patient’s response to treatment and changes in their condition to the nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instructs the patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the healthcare team in areas of therapy within the scope of the Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a reliable vehicle, or public transportation.

State Specific Requirements

• LA: Requires 2+ years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently.
• Displays good communication, writing, and organizational skills.

Pay Range

Annual Total Cash Target Pay: $50,852 - $76,277
Hourly Pay Range: $24.45 - $36.67
Per Visit Point Pay Range: $29.34 - $44.01
