About the role

Occupational therapy in the skilled nursing setting at TheraDynamics focuses on helping patients recover and return to their daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on functional independence
• Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, and social work teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training
• Engage in clinical reasoning and problem-solving
• Meet productivity expectations

Requirements

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current or eligible for New York State OTA license
• NBCOT certification (or eligible)

• Strong clinical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills
