About the Role

Norris Square in Cottage Grove, MN is seeking an On-Call Occupational Therapist Assistant. You will become part of a cohesive, in-house therapy team and supportive organization with opportunities to learn and grow, serving multiple settings including TCU/SNF, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Home Health, and Outpatient.

Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment per the established plan of care and in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assist in identifying goals, prioritizing treatment, and selecting appropriate interventions.
  • Continuously assess changes in functional deficits and adjust treatment as appropriate.
  • Provide education to residents/clients, families, caregivers, and staff.
  • Collaborate with therapist on observations, progress towards goals, and recommended updates to plan of care and discharge.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation & billing in electronic medical record.
  • Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of payer sources and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with therapist on supervisory visits per regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents/clients, families, caregivers, physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current licensure in the state(s) of practice as required.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $27.58 - $31.88 per hour. Actual pay range depends upon individual employee qualifications and market conditions.
