Occupational Therapist Assistant
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment per the established plan of care and in accordance with physician orders.
- Auxiliary in identifying goals, prioritizing treatment, and selecting appropriate interventions.
- Continuously assess changes in functional deficits and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Offer education to residents/clients, families, caregivers, and staff.
- Collaborate with the therapist on observations, progress towards goals, and recommended updates to the plan of care and discharge.
- Accurately document and bill in the electronic medical record.
- Show understanding and knowledge of payer sources and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the therapist on supervisory visits according to regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents/clients, families, caregivers, physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team.
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- Current licensure in the state(s) of practice as required.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $27.58 - $31.88 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
