Occupational Therapist Assistant

About the role

Creative Health Solutions is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility with Assisted Living in Ocala, FL. Responsibilities

• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and administer therapy programs aimed at improving patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Implement treatment intervention plans to address the goals on the plan of care.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Continuously educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures and techniques.
• Stay up to date with the latest therapy techniques and methodologies.

Requirements

• Valid State OTA License

Qualifications

• Passionate about occupational therapy and patient care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar setting is preferred but not required.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in using medical terminology and understanding of healthcare regulations.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and methodologies.
