This position may be filled by either an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Requirements
- Education and/or Experience:
- A. A. or A.S. in an accredited program of Occupational Therapy from a two-year college or university.
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training required.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination.
- Current CPR Certification.
What You’ll Do
Performs duties in accordance with the Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Scope of Practice, including:
- Assists in examining patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or other health-related conditions to implement the occupational therapist’s plan of care.
- Implements and adjusts therapeutic interventions within the established plan of care to reduce impairments and functional limitations.
- Promotes injury prevention, health, fitness, and quality of life across all age populations.
- Provides care under the direction of the occupational therapist.
