Qualifications
- Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Specific course work: Occupational Therapy preferred.
- Necessary Skills:
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of patients.
- Ability to assess and implement a treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Required Licensure/Certifications: Current Florida Occupational Therapy license. BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services. Splinting/orthotic fabrication is preferred.
- Required Experience: Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. acute, outpatient, etc.).
