Occupational Therapist 7500 Bonus

Park View Care Center in Wells, MN is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in a rural setting that offers a calmer atmosphere and opportunities to build a full caseload quickly.

About the role

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with flexible start and end times. We offer a competitive wage, benefits, and up to a $7,500 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions
• Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination
• Educate & Support Patients & Families: Provide patient and caregiver education such as coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life and independence
• Monitor Progress & Adjust Plans: Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program with a bachelor’s degree
• Current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
• Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, with sufficient communication skills to perform required tasks

Pay

$45 - $55 per hour depending on experience, plus a $7,500 bonus paid out over 18 months.
