About the Role

The Occupational Therapist II provides a full range of occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The successful candidate will work at the new Irvine Acute Rehab Hospital, a joint UCI Health / LifePoint venture, anticipated to open summer of 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans.
  • Float between UCI Health locations as needed.
  • Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.

Requirements

  • Occupational Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified.

Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
