Occupational Therapist - 0.8 FTE

Vernon Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our Therapy Services team. This 0.8 FTE position works four days per week and offers a rewarding mix of outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy, providing the opportunity to work with diverse patients and diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve function, independence, and quality of life
• Manage a caseload with clinical variety, including orthopedics, neurological conditions, pediatrics, lymphedema, and prehabilitation (prehab) services
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families
• Recommend adaptive equipment
• Help patients achieve meaningful goals across the continuum of care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification
• CPR certification
• Rehabilitation experience preferred

Schedule

This position includes a holiday rotation and regular weekend rotations.
