Occupational Safety Program Specialist

About the role

The Occupational Safety Program Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining occupational safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety training programs for employees
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory agencies to address safety concerns
• Prepare and maintain safety reports and documentation
• Collaborate with management to develop and enforce safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational safety or related field
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$75,000 - $95,000 annually
