Occupational Safety Health Analyst

About the role

The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking an Occupational Safety Health Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Western Service Area (WSA) Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health (EOSH) Program.

Responsibilities

• Takes effective steps to ensure workplace conditions comply with Occupational Safety and Health standards.
• Participates in OSHA inspections and follows up on any procedures resulting from citations.
• Prepares and maintains occupational safety and health records.
• Investigates, prepares reports, and forwards documents to the customer for approval.
• Reports on injuries and fatalities.
• Conducts safe work procedures training courses.

Requirements

• Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Absolutely required to travel approximately 25% - 50% of the time.
• To be eligible for a Public Trust Security Clearance, must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident/green card holder with continuous residency in the US for the past 3 years.
• A bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Public Trust Security Clearance is required.
• Must reside in one of the following locations: Rancho Cordova, CA, Oakland, CA, and/or Spokane, WA.

Skills

• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Experience with OSHA inspections and compliance.
• Ability to conduct training classes and present findings.

Benefits
