Occupational Medicine Physician
About the role
We are seeking a board-certified Occupational Health Physician to join a collaborative group of providers in Layton, UT at our Intermountain Health Workmed clinic. This is an opportunity to join a Service line made up of 13 Occupational Health clinics in the Intermountain Medical Group with excellent collegiality and peer support. As a part-time provider, we are searching for a physician who is interested in working 4 x 9-hour clinical shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform fitness assessments for work examinations
- Conduct pre-employment physicals
- Provide acute injury care including repair of lacerations
Requirements
One BC/BE Occupational Medicine (preferred), Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice physician needed to work at our Layton location, with an option to flex to some of our other Workmed locations throughout the state of Utah
Successful completion from U.S. ACGME Residency/Fellowship
Qualifications
Clinical shifts will be performed on weekdays, Monday through Friday
WorkMed clinics are closed on weekends and holidays
Not a requirement, but we would welcome the opportunity to consider a provider fluent in Spanish
Skills
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
