Occupational Medicine Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

About the role

This is a clinic-based occupational medicine position requiring board certification and prescriptive authority. The clinician will provide day-shift services at an on-site outpatient facility, supporting workplace health services with a focus on injury prevention and worker safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment physicals, return-to-work clearances, and worker injury assessments
• Conduct medical surveillance, exposure treatments, health screenings, for-cause substance testing, and fit-for-duty exams
• Order and interpret diagnostics
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Manage adult patients in an occupational health setting

Requirements

• Board certification in occupational medicine
• Prescriptive authority
• New Jersey medical license
• DOT certification
• CDS and DEA credentials
• Experience in workers’ compensation cases
