About the Role
The Occupational Health Nurse is a registered nurse who independently observes and assesses a worker's health status in relation to their job tasks and potential hazards. Leveraging specialized experience and education, these registered nurses recognize and prevent health effects from hazardous exposures, treat work-related injuries and illnesses, and manage work injuries for client companies.
Requirements
- RN with current Arkansas license
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN or COHN-S) required within two years of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Occupational Health experience
Skills
- Venipuncture skills
- Ability to organize, communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Ability to teach and work with others effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
Schedule
PRN (as needed), 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
