About the Role

The Occupational Health Nurse is a registered nurse who independently observes and assesses a worker's health status in relation to their job tasks and potential hazards. Leveraging specialized experience and education, these registered nurses recognize and prevent health effects from hazardous exposures, treat work-related injuries and illnesses, and manage work injuries for client companies.

Requirements

  • RN with current Arkansas license
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Certification in Occupational Health (COHN or COHN-S) required within two years of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Occupational Health experience

Skills

  • Venipuncture skills
  • Ability to organize, communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to teach and work with others effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Schedule

PRN (as needed), 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
