About the Role
An Occupational Health Professional - LPN provides on-site medical care, health assessments, screenings, and manages medical records to ensure a safe, healthy, and productive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Offer routine and emergency medical attention within nursing protocols.
- Respond promptly to workplace and health issues.
- Conduct health screenings such as drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, and audiometry.
- Maintain accurate health records for compliance.
- Support safety, ergonomic initiatives, wellness programs, and employee health education.
- Assist with workers' compensation cases and support the health and safety team.
- Deliver on-site care, respond to incidents, perform health screenings, and maintain confidentiality.
- Requires mobility to respond on the production floor and support overall health and safety efforts.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted state LPN license.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification required; additional certifications in urine drug screening and breath alcohol collection will be facilitated.
- Preferably 1+ years of nursing experience; clinical hours acceptable for graduate nurses.
