Occupational Health Nurse

About the Role

Provide occupational health nursing care for ill or injured employees. Recommend placement of employees in jobs compatible with their health and safety. Assist Children’s Health Corporation and its entities in regulatory agency compliance. Enhance and conserve employee health through nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate disability management for non-occupational and occupational illnesses/injuries to ensure health and safety of employees, maximize productivity, and reduce costs.
• Maintain a confidential, complete, and accurate system of employee medical records to provide information for job placements, medical surveillance, health maintenance, and workers’ compensation claims.
• Promote wellness among employees through educating, counseling, and providing resource information.
• Provide nursing care using established protocols and pharmaceutical standing orders to place and maintain employees in a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• One year of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration (required upon hire).

Pay

Hourly range: $37.98 to $56.97, dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Schedule

Part-time, benefit-eligible position. Thursdays and Fridays, 0600–1630.
