About Us

Colorado College ("CC") is a private, four-year, highly selective liberal arts college of 2,100 undergraduate students and a small Master of Arts in teaching program. Located on a 99-acre campus adjacent to downtown Colorado Springs, the college sits on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at the foot of Pikes Peak. CC operates an innovative curricular approach known as the Block Plan, where students take one course at a time for three and a half weeks, with the academic year divided into eight "blocks."

The Colorado College Department of Athletics sponsors 17 varsity programs: 15 at the NCAA Division III level (members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, except Men's Lacrosse as an independent and Women's Lacrosse as a WIAC affiliate) and two at the Division I level (Men's Hockey in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference and Women's Soccer as an affiliate member of the Mountain West Conference).
