OC Online Enrollment Assistant
Oklahoma Christian University invites applications for a part-time Enrollment Assistant with the OC Online office, beginning Fall 2026. This position will work approximately 10 hours per week.
About the Role
Support the Director of Online Student Advising in providing a smooth enrollment experience for online students.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Online Student Advising with enrollment and registration goals.
- Review transcripts, degree audits, and prior learning credits to assist with academic planning.
- Develop individualized course plans and enroll incoming online students in their first-semester courses.
- Collaborate with the Registrar, IT, Admissions, Support Central, and other offices to resolve student record and registration issues.
- Monitor course availability and communicate scheduling needs or concerns.
- Prepare student records and complete accurate handoffs to permanent academic advisors.
- Maintain accurate student records, notes, workflows, and onboarding information in university systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable learning and using student information systems, advising platforms, and other technology.
- Ability to listen effectively, identify solutions, and turn feedback into action.
- Ability to collect, organize, and use data to support student success and program improvement.
- Active Christian faith and service, including membership in a local church.
