Obstetrics RN Staff Nurse

About the role

This role involves assessing, planning, delegating, and evaluating nursing care for a diverse patient population. You will serve as a primary or accountable nurse based on unit needs, educating patients and families on health promotion and disease management.

You will utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications and ensure compliance with practice standards and policies. The role includes active participation in shared governance, support for quality improvement initiatives, and engagement in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Current RN license.

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications or a BSN.
• Strong clinical skills and resource management abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
