Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (MD/DO) - UNC Women's Health at Eden
About the role
Address: 522 S. Van Buren Road, Eden, NC 27288
Office hours: Monday-Thursday (8 am-5 pm), Friday (8 am to Noon)
Comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for women of all ages, including: prenatal care and delivery, contraceptive services, well-woman exams, hysterectomy, pelvic pain, in-office procedures, urinary incontinence, gynecological surgery, etc.
The benefit of access to a broad scope of specialists and primary care providers within UNC Health Medical Group and UNC as a whole.
Responsibilities
- One weekend of call (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
- Two additional weekdays during the month
- Delivery volume averaging 10 a month per provider
- Excellent clinic staff and leadership support
- 50/50 mix of OB and GYN
- Quality mentorship program available with extensive availability from two senior partners
Requirements
- Board eligible new-graduate provider or board certified experienced provider
- Flexible schedule with only 5 days per month of call
- Experience in comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Current license to practice medicine in North Carolina
- Completion of an accredited ACGME/ACGME-approved residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
