About the role

Provide direct patient care as an employed Obstetrics and Gynecology physician at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, TX. The position offers a competitive salary, moving allowance, comprehensive benefits package, and no state income tax.

• 35 physicians in the department across the Temple region; 4 OB/GYN specialists, 11 subspecialist physicians, and 2 full‑time APPs at this location.
• Access to OB/GYN sub‑specialists: Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), Gynecologic Oncology (GynOnc), and Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology.
• 50/50 mix of obstetrics and gynecology.
• Opportunity to perform robotic surgery.
• Average of 20‑24 patients per full day.
• Participate in lectures, grand rounds, research, and quality‑improvement projects.
• Work with OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Call schedule 1:10.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures, including robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Participate in educational activities such as lectures, grand rounds, and research.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and teach OB/GYN residents and medical students.
• Manage on‑call duties according to a 1:10 schedule.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas (Texas Medical Board).
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
