About the role
Hillsdale Hospital offers comprehensive OB-GYN care, including normal and high-risk pregnancies, gynecologic services, and support services. The hospital is part of a community-based healthcare system that provides a wide range of services including acute inpatient care, radiology, laboratory, surgery, a birthing center, emergency care, psychiatric care, and multiple outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB-GYN care, including normal and high-risk pregnancies.
- Offer gynecologic services for women.
- Deliver support services and programs tailored to the unique physical and emotional needs of women of all ages.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals including OB-GYNs, certified nurse midwives, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and lactation specialists.
- Ensure individualized postpartum care for women and infants, including mandatory state screenings and physician examinations before discharge.
- Manage the health needs of the local community through compassionate and skilled care in a clean, safe, and healing environment.
- Operate multiple outpatient clinics providing specialty care in areas such as pulmonology, orthopedics, pain management, short-stay rehab, vascular care, and hyperbaric medicine.
Requirements
Applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Michigan, and have completed an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should possess excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience in high-risk pregnancies and leadership skills are preferred.

Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, effective problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle stressful situations are essential.
