Obstetrics Gynecologist - Locums Coverage

This role involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital setting, covering high and low-risk pregnancies, emergent GYN issues, and inpatient consults. The position requires performing C-sections, minor GYN procedures, and interpreting FHR and ultrasounds. It includes in-house coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts, managing approximately 19 patients daily across L&D, OB ED, ED consults, and inpatient services. Qualifications include relevant OB/GYN certification, experience in high-risk pregnancy management, and proficiency in OB ultrasounds and FHR interpretation. Skills needed are strong clinical judgment, procedural competence, and effective communication. The role offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and access to dedicated support. Key duties involve patient care, decision-making for deliveries and procedures, and collaboration with 24/7 MFM and OB CRNA teams.
