Obstetrics Gynecologist - Locums Coverage
About the role
This position involves providing comprehensive OB/GYN services across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and ambulatory surgical centers. The clinician will work alongside OB/GYNs, advanced practice providers, and nurse midwives to manage both low and high-risk pregnancies, perform surgical procedures (open and laparoscopic), and conduct office-based gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, cystoscopies, colposcopies, and LEEP.
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient load of approximately 20 patients per shift in a clinic setting.
- Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, including surgical and office procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in pager call coverage as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a full scope OB/GYN license, with experience in managing both routine and complex cases.
Skills
Strong surgical skills in open and laparoscopic procedures, as well as proficiency in office gynecological procedures, are required.
Pay
The assignment offers competitive pay, with rates from $150.00 to $225.00 hourly, inclusive of various earnings.
