This role involves providing inpatient obstetric care in a hospital setting, including managing low and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries (such as C-sections and breech births), and performing laparoscopic procedures like tubal ligation, ectopic, and cystectomy. As a charter member of NALTO, the organization emphasizes professional standards and industry expertise.
Responsibilities
- Rounding on assigned patients
- Handling 13‑18 cases per shift
- Conducting OB ultrasounds
- Managing patient care efficiently
- Participating in online documentation
- Providing high‑quality obstetric services
Qualifications
- Privileges to work in a hospital
- Experience with both routine and complex obstetric cases
- Proficiency in repairing 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
