Responsibilities
- Support routine gynecology and preventive care
- Provide obstetric care for high- and low-risk pregnancies
- Perform surgical procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, and minimally invasive procedures
- Manage inpatient and outpatient care
- Participate in shared call coverage
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives
Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for or active Maine medical license
DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certification
Qualifications
Fluent in Lingala, French, Portuguese, or Somali is a bonus
Skills
Night time coverage not required
