Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
About the role
The incoming physician will join a supportive, well-established practice conveniently located on the hospital campus, near charming downtown Waynesville. Our group is open to both experienced physicians and newly trained residents.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 50/50 mix of obstetrics and gynecology
- Contribute to a dynamic and well-established practice with high volume collaborative surgical capabilities
- Perform advanced laparoscopic and vaginal procedures including vNOTES Robotics available at sister hospital - 20 minutes away (Harris Regional Hospital)
- Handle a 50/50 mix of obstetrics and gynecology cases
- Work 8 days per month including one weekend per month
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Experience in a hospital-based setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in North Carolina
- Passing scores on all required medical boards

- Ability to manage a busy caseload

Pay
Compensation package includes competitive base salary plus wRVU production bonus, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
Schedule
Call is 8 days per month including one weekend per month.
