Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist

Job Summary

Medical City Healthcare is seeking compassionate, board-certified Obgyn physicians to join their team as PRN or part-time OB Hospitalists across their Dallas-Fort Worth hospitals.

Qualified Candidates

• 24-hour shifts
• PRN physicians are required to work a minimum average of one shift per month and three shifts per quarter
• Part-time physicians are required to work a minimum average of three shifts per month and nine shifts per quarter
• Focused on hospital-based care including deliveries and rounding on inpatients
• No clinic responsibilities
• Labor & Delivery teams are known for their warm, team-oriented culture with a shared commitment to safety
• Strong, respectful collaboration with Critical Care and Emergency departments
• First assist support available for hospitalists and private practice physicians
• A reliable back-up call system is in place
• Teamwork with affiliated MFM and neonatology specialists
• Provide emergency OB care, unassigned patient support, OBED coverage, and transport management
