- Urgent coverage: August 27, 0700 through August 31, 0700
- Additional coverage: August 14, 0700 through October 5, 0700
Schedule
- 24-hour call only, 7a–7a
- No clinic
Requirements
- Active North Carolina license
- Clean history (required to obtain emergency privileges)
Documentation Requirements for Call Back Hours
- Physicians must provide supporting notes on timesheet entries to verify Call Back hours (patient contact hours)
- Call back hours are included in the rate and charged as call back hours
- Physicians must document the specific reason for the call back with a description sufficient for audit validation
- Telephone calls and medical record reviews are not considered on-site call back
- Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support (Market should not be charged for call back hours if a physician stays at the hospital without a clinical need based on the criteria herein)
Overtime
Overtime hours must be submitted and associated with acceptable occurrences as mentioned above.
