Coverage

This role supports labor and delivery, inpatient OB/GYN care, consultations, surgical interventions, and obstetric emergencies in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Facility

260-bed hospital with Level 2 nursery and approximately 1,500 births per year.

Scheduling

Seeking a provider who can cover around 12 shifts per month; the true range is a minimum of 8 shifts per month, with more shifts available in some months. Shifts are offered as 12‑ or 24‑hour blocks, either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage labor and deliveries, including vaginal and C‑section deliveries, and obstetric emergencies
• Provide inpatient triage, OB/GYN consultations, and surgical interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients on prenatal/postpartum care and women’s health
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold best practices
