Responsibilities

• Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and registered nurse for assigned surgical cases.
• Performs OB technician duties for vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and other GYN surgical procedures.
• Maintains equipment and supply inventory to insure optimal safety, efficiency, and timely response to patient care needs within the unit.
• Affords assistance in Newborn nursery and postpartum units as needed and directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Certificate of completion, GED, Training, Experience.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Graduate of Scrub Technician Training Program (preferred).
• 3-5 years experience (preferred).
• Certification (preferred).
• Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $26.13 - $33.97 / hour depending on experience.
