Obstetric Hospitalist / Laborist Physician

About the role

We are seeking a board-certified or eligible OB/GYN physician to join a laborist team focused exclusively on inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.

This position offers approximately 12 shifts per month, including a flexible mix of day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume obstetric cases with extensive clinical support, including dedicated laborist coverage, certified nurse midwives, and backup providers
• Collaborate with comprehensive hospital resources such as anesthesia, neonatal care, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students
• Work within a collaborative, physician-led environment that emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-based care

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician
• Commitment to quality care
• Strong obstetrical and surgical skills

Pay

Competitive hourly rate.

Schedule

Approximately 12 shifts per month, with a flexible mix of day and night shifts.
