Obstetric Anesthesiology Physician

About the role

We are seeking Board Certified or Eligible Anesthesiologists to join a growing academic department. The role involves providing clinical anesthesia care, teaching residents, consulting on high-risk obstetric patients, and collaborating on research projects with opportunities to present at national meetings.

Faculty will participate in intraoperative care for Gynecology and Gynecology Oncology patients and engage in an ACGME fellowship program. Candidates should qualify for a Connecticut license and, if subspecialty-trained, be Fellowship Certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical anesthesia care
• Teach and mentor residents
• Consult on high-risk obstetric patients
• Collaborate on research projects with opportunities to present at national meetings
• Participate in intraoperative care for Gynecology and Gynecology Oncology patients
• Engage in an ACGME fellowship program

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Qualify for a Connecticut medical license
• Fellowship Certified if subspecialty-trained
