About the role
We are seeking an energetic OB/GYN Physician to join our growing team of providers making a difference in Women's healthcare. You will play a crucial role in providing integrated, comprehensive and wholistic healthcare to women throughout their life stages, such as reproductive health, prenatal, childbirth, and overall wellness. You will use your expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions related to women's health, ensuring that patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Location: Arlington, TX (3201 Madlock Rd, Medical City Pavillion II, Suite 430 Arlington TX 76015)
Responsibilities
- Work in a state of the art outpatient clinic with ability to work with partner facilities on inpatient procedures
- Deliver comprehensive women's health services, including annual wellness exams, family planning, contraception management, Pap smears, STI screening and treatment, menopausal care, and other gynecologic services
- Provide prenatal, postpartum, and obstetric care for low-risk pregnancies within the physician's scope of practice and hospital privileges
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including cesarean sections and gynecological surgeries
- Educate patients on preventive care, nutrition, chronic disease management, reproductive health, pregnancy, breastfeeding, family planning, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health providers, pharmacists, nurses, care managers, and specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Support patients with the physical and emotional changes of menopause
- Collaborate with other a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide education to patients regarding their health choices
- Enhance the quality of life for women by delivering high-quality medical care and support during critical health transitions
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current unrestricted license to practice Medicine in the State of Texas or be able to obtain
- Registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas or be able to obtain
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar along with MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact in the community
Qualifications
- Experience providing prenatal care, women's health services, and obstetric care preferred
- Experience in an FQHC, community health center, rural health clinic, or underserved setting preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred if providing obstetric services
