About the role

Join a hospital employed practice in a city-owned nonprofit 300-bed regional referral center servicing a 350,000-catchment area. Busy program with an extremely large referral base that covers 14 counties. Full-service regional hub inclusive of all cardiovascular and surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver at a 250-bed hospital with a 350,000 service area
• Work 2 office days and 1 surgery day per week
• No clinic requirement on surgery days
• 1:4 call, alternating Mondays and Thursdays, and every fourth weekend
• Call frequently handled by phone
• Participate in a 24-hour nurse midwife laborist program
• Work in a newly remodeled 10,000 square foot clinic located on the hospital campus
• Utilize three patient rooms per physician, three ultrasound rooms (seasoned techs), and one procedure room
• Offer endometrial biopsies, urodynamics, IUD, and Nexplanon in the clinic
• Perform endoscopy office hysteroscopy
• Benefit from support of nine medical assistants and licensed practical nurses (LPNs)
• Assist with wellness visits and annual exams with two nurse practitioners (NPs)
• Participate in an excellent onboarding program
• Have access to an in-house lab and Athena EMR

Requirements

Completion of medical school and residency training
