OBGYN CNM or NP/PA

About the Role

Join our growing Department of Women’s Health in Gilbert, Arizona as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or OBGYN Advanced Practitioner. You will help patients receive exceptional obstetrical, neonatal, and gynecological care to ensure healthy pregnancies, positive birth outcomes, and optimized women's health throughout their lifespan.

The team consists of 7 CNMs and 9 MDs. This opening aims to improve patient access, ensure consistent clinic coverage, manage medication refills, and serve as a proxy for providers during PTA.

Patient population includes general OB/GYN with AHCCCS, commercial insurance, and self-pay. Projected volume is 18-24 patients in clinic per 8-hour day, focusing on outpatient and consults.

This is a salary position with a 40-hour work week, working 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. No call is required. You will be part of a fantastic team including genetic counselors, sonographers, RNs, a diabetic educator, and dedicated office/support staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage low-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and the highest standards of care.

Requirements

• Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Must hold and maintain:
  • AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License (for PAs).
  • NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (for PAs).
  • Compact state or Arizona RN license.
  • Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license.
  • National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations:
    • NP-AACN, or
    • NP-AANP, or
    • NP-ANCC.
  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Valid DEA registration.
• Must meet credentialing criteria.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of CNM or NP/PA experience in OBGYN.

Pay

$112,736 - $148,283 per year.
