About the role

MaineHealth OBGYN Generalists in Portland, Maine, with offices in Portland and Scarborough, are seeking an Advanced Practice Professional with women’s health experience - Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Associate (PA), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our outpatient practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad range of Women’s Health conditions, including pre and postnatal care, as well as provide full-scope gynecologic care across the reproductive spectrum.
  • Support our busy, outpatient OB/GYN practices with the support of our attending OB/GYN physicians.
  • Manage clinical care coordination of obstetrical services, gynecologic preventative healthcare, family planning, management of acute and chronic gynecologic concerns, as well as menopausal care.
  • Have experience in women’s health, common gynecologic procedures such as IUD and contraceptive implant management, as well as endometrial biopsies.
  • Work collaboratively with residents and medical students in a supportive environment for moderate to high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements

  • Education: BS/MSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the ACNM or successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program.
  • Certification: Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife as required in the State of Maine. Current BLS certification.
  • Experience: Women’s Health experience preferred. Experience in common gynecologic procedures such as IUD and contraceptive implant management, as well as endometrial biopsies is preferred. Ability and interest in caring for moderate to high-risk pregnancies in a supported environment. Collaborative approach to patient care, including working with residents and medical students.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $109,659 to $141,911 annually based on the candidate’s level of experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time (.9 FTE) benefitted position.
