OBGYN Chair, Sharon Hospital

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine seek a dynamic Chair of OBGYN to join their team at Sharon Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion of Women’s Health services across the Northwell Health system.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and clinical excellence in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Manage the Labor and Delivery department, which sees between 150-200 births per year.
• Oversee a full range of services including bariatric surgery, cardiology, emergency care, neurosciences, orthopedics, stroke care, surgical services, and women’s services.
• Respond to calls at the Sharon Hospital site within 30 minutes.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Experience leading a department or similar role.
• Proven track record of innovation and leadership in healthcare.
