OB Technologist

Saint Luke’s North Hospital–Barry Road is seeking a Full-Time OB Technologist for night shifts.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend and holiday shift requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of care to patients experiencing surgical intervention within the Labor and Delivery area
• Assist with surgical procedures
• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Individualize and modify care according to patient needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to enhance patient care
• Assume a multiskilled role performing clinical and clerical functions as an integral member of the primary patient care team

Requirements

• Surgical scrub tech experience preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, but not required
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (if certified)
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience
